Theme dinner: Marche
Rolling hills, dramatic mountains and a coastline with white beaches and turquoise water. Marche is not only Italy’s best kept secret with a beautiful landscape, but a paradise for food lovers. Just like it’s varied landscape, the kitchen offers delicious fish courses, mushrooms, wild asparagus and – of course – the truffle. With warm days and cool evenings Marche has the perfect climate for wine produce.
May 25 our own chef Mirko Guidi, comes to La Scuola for a Marche themed evening with four courses. During this three hour long course, you will learn the history and origin of the traditional regional dishes on the menu, and the traditions behind them. Enjoy a quick aperitif before we sit down together to taste the best of Marche – paired with regional wines, of course!

Mirko Guidi is head chef at our own restaurant La Piazza. He has a degree from Istituto Panzini di Senigallia and 30 years of experience as a chef in high quality restaurants, both in Sweden and Italy. Born in Fano, Marche right by the sea, he prefers the traditional and antique kitchen with a main focus on fish courses.
